ARETE INVEST SUBFUND CEE

The first sub-fund of the ARETE investment group was established in 2014, as one of the first SICAV funds in the Czech Republic. As part of a carefully prepared investment strategy, it focused on investments in residential portfolios, which gave a high precondition for further appreciation and stability in the given investment horizon. In 2015 the portfolio consisting of 13 apartment buildings with almost 300 flats and total leasable area of 18,000 sqm was acquired. The properties were located in Ostrava, Havířov and Olomouc.

STRATEGY

Subfund was established with predetermined investment cycle. The target was to achieve maximum return on investment through implementation of optimal operating economy and stable rental income. The portfolio was gradually renovated in order to achieve higher standards of rental housing. At the same time, effective financial management and receivables management were set up. The investment cycle was closed 19 months after acquisition. During 2016 the portfolio was successfully sold to a foreign institutional investor. Very attractive profit was distributed to investors. Acquisitions of properties, sub-fund management and asset management have always been supported by the best consulting and advisory companies on the market.
